The Garf Foundation is a dedicated animal welfare organization that advocates and supports the adoption of FIV+ and FeLV+ cats. With education and advocacy, we strive to erase misconceptions and encourage more people to adopt these beautiful, loving cats in need of a caring, safe home. The Garf Foundation was created in the memory of my beloved cat Garfield who passed away from complications of FeLV. It is the result of a pledge made to him as I held him in the exam room of my vet's office during his final moments on earth. With tears flowing, I whispered in his ear a pledge that his name would go on in a way that would help other cats and their owners in their journey of dealing with these diseases. Because every cat deserves their best life. Jack M. Rhoades, Founder / CEO
